That’s exactly what the near future looks like for Global Dominion.

“Having the help of artificial intelligence in scaling our credit reporting business is timely and much needed given our growth in many areas in the country,” said Rodrigo Matinong, Jr., head of Global Dominion Credit. The company added 32 locations this year. and the plan is to open more in the first quarter of next year.

Global Dominion’s Information Technology Group (GDFI-ITG) envisions a shared service to improve IT management, operations and support for businesses within the group. GDFI-ITG works closely with the finance company’s business units to leverage existing and emerging technology to reduce costs, potentially lowering interest rates for financial consumers in the future.

“Centralizing back-office operations has resulted in cost reductions, improved service quality, better control and more effective management of our assets,” said Eric Salazar, Chief Information Officer of Global Dominion. Their initiatives have eliminated redundant IT resources, budget allocation and hiring processes and forced the adoption of best practices. “This isn’t even the highlight for us, it’s just the beginning!” Salazar added.

The company has aggressively researched and studied technology services that maximize the use of artificial intelligence (AI), and has screened no fewer than ten vendors to date, including one in the field of explainable AI.

In addition to the transition to a cloud-based setup, and beyond AI, the growing demand for automation has led to new projects such as machine learning and mobile self-service capabilities being included in the future strategic roadmap.
