Google has introduced a powerful new update to its AI assistant, making conversations smarter and more connected.
Now Gemini can remind of chats from the past to offer more relevant answers, according to Google’s blog post.
For example, if you used to go to the Melkweg earlier in the week, you can simply say: “summarize our discussion,” and Gemini will summarize it without the need to browse old conversations.
This upgrade goes beyond remembering preferences, so that the assistant can refer to full discussions from the past. In addition, you can easily view, manage or delete your chat history via the ‘Gemini Apps Activity’ section under your profile.
Currently, the chat -back group function is limited to Gemini Advanced subscribers on the Google One AI Premium Plan and only available in English. However, Google is planning to expand it to more languages and workspace customers soon.

In addition, 9to5Google reports that Gemini becomes live smarter, with an improved understanding of languages, accents and translations, powered by the latest Gemini 2.0 AI model. Multimodal possibilities, such as dealing with text, audio and video, are on the horizon, along with screen exchange and live video streaming.
With these updates, Gemini evolves into one of the most powerful AI assistants and offers a richer, more personalized experience. While rivals pose a threat, Deepseek AI is already forbidden in South Korea.
