Grant Ellis over final, being a second black lead

In the aftermath of the news that “The Bachelor” show runners Claire Freeland and Bennett Graebner negotiate their outputs of the franchise, Grant Ellis of season 29 admits that things could have been done better.

“They have taught absolutely faith in me. You know, I am the second black single ever. There is some weight that comes with it,” says Grant Variety After the season finale on Monday evening. “But I feel that they have done their best and that is important. Could things do better? Of course. Of course. I could have done better, but I think we all tried it and the end goal was a commitment. That was the focus of the show and that is what happened.”

Although fans seemed to expect that Juliana Pasquarosa would get the last rose in the final last night, it also led to a heartbreaking moment for Litia Garr. Grant says that he has one big regret of the final – question if he should choose Litia instead.

“That was a question that I asked myself out of confusion,” says Grant. “That is something that I would change. That was something that was clear on the camera. It is a time when you spirit.”

Although the final was plagued as a difficult choice, how close to the decision was and how much subsidy itself was in the second place, the relationship between Grant and Juliana was not processed in the months since the proposal.

“We talked about how difficult the decision was based on certain factors,” he says. “We also talked about how difficult it is to abandon someone and that was the main emphasis on which the operation really played a role.”

Juliana repeated Grant’s feelings and said: “Grant gave me all the information I needed when we finished filming. There was a connection between you and Litia, but nothing happened from the left field. I was mentally prepared.”

Next for Bachelor Nation After the season of Grant is “Bachelor in Paradise”, which will return host with a surprise turn: participants of both “Golden Bachelor” and “Golden Bachelorette” will compete, including season 29’s Zoe McGrady.
