Gwyneth Paltrow shares summer photo album with her two children

Like any Instagram parent, Gwyneth Paltrow shares the highlights of the summer with her family.

Paltrow, 51, took to the app on Monday, September 2 post a video montage with daughter Apple, 20, son Moses, 18, and their stepfather Brad Falchukalongside other familiar faces.

“Summer was good to us,” she wrote.

Of Father John Misty‘s “Real Love Baby” soundtrack, Paltrow’s Reel showed a glimpse of her in mom mode: taking separate selfies with Apple and Moses and posing with both against a green, hilly backdrop. She shares her children with ex-husband Chris Martinwho can be seen in the video next to Moses in a nice father-son moment.

Paltrow also added photos of a shirtless Falchuk, 53, and photos of her with famous friends Reese Witherspoon And Rashida Jones. Witherspoon, 48, replied in the comments section: “Divine Summer.”

This year Paltrow officially becomes an empty nesterwhile Moses went to college. At the end of last month, she shared images of the two together via her Instagram Story and responded to questions from fans, including a question about how she dealt with her children (almost) all leaving the house.

“Have you taken both kids to college yet?” one follower wanted to know. “I do that, I’m not doing well.”

Paltrow replied “not yet” in a video response before Moses came on screen.

“She’s not completely rid of me yet,” the teen joked.

Paltrow’s 17-year-old stepson, Brody, was also leaving for college. (Falchuk, a TV writer and producer, shares Brody and daughter Isabella, 19, with ex-wife Suzanne Bukinik.)

Paltrow recently spoke with The Sunday timesabout her sadness about their upcoming transition.

“In the fall, Brad and I have guys going to college,” Paltrow told the British newspaper in March. “It will be interesting to see how the morning routine changes when there are no children in the house.”

The actress added that she had mixed feelings about the departure of the last children.

“On the one hand, incredible sadness. A deep sense of impending sadness,” she said. “On the other hand, this is exactly what should happen. Your children are supposed to be young adults who can achieve, cope, make connections, and be resilient. That’s exactly what you want. And that means they leave the house.”

Earlier this summer, Paltrow expressed her admiration for Apple and Moses in an Instagram Story Q&A.

“I think both of my children know themselves very well and that’s a quality about them that I both love and admire,” Paltrow revealed in July. “And I think one of the concerns that I’m both concerned about is fear. This, as we know, is the fearful generation.”
