McClintock later said he asked Scott’s father, Eminem, for permission to marry Scott.
“I saw your father go downstairs and [thought]’Agree. I have to do it now, otherwise I won’t do it today. I’ll have to plan another time,” he said during an appearance at Scott’s “Just a bit shady” podcast. “So I just followed him down and luckily he was just there and got you [birthday] cake.”

Hailie announced that she and McClintock were expecting their first child in Eminem’s “Temporary” music video — and later took to social media to share the happy news.
“Mom & Dad est. 2025,” she wrote via Instagram next to photos of the duo with their ultrasound.
Hailie later revealed that her friend and podcast cohost, Brittany Edniehid her pregnancy at her wedding in May.
“People didn’t know she was pregnant,” Ednie said in an October 2024 podcast episode. “So she grabbed a drink, and didn’t drink it like a responsible parent does. When people turned around, she would hand me her drink, and I would start chugging, making it look like she was drinking continuously all night.
Hailie praised Ednie for helping her that night.
“Brittany brought one for the team,” Hailie said. “I never really asked you to do it. It was something unspoken with our eyes.”
