Harvey Weinstein’s indecent assault charge has been dropped by British prosecutors

In addition to the charges against Weinstein in New York, he also faced separate cases criminal charges in Los Angelesin which he was accused of raping a woman and sexually assaulting another woman over a two-day period in 2013.

The 72-year-old was charged with one crime: forcible rape, forcible oral copulation, sexual penetration by use of force and sexual battery by coercion. He was charged in April 2021.

At his trial in LA in October 2022, he was charged with eleven counts of rape, forcible oral copulation and sexual battery stemming from alleged incidents between 2004 and 2013. Four of the initial eleven charges were eventually dropped.
