“High potential” premiere ratings reached 11.5 million viewers in three days

The series premiere of “High Potential” saw audiences increase 220% after three days of viewing across multiple platforms.

According to Live + Same Day data from Nielsen, the initial broadcast on September 17 averaged 3.6 million viewers on ABC. But when factoring in Hulu, Hulu on Disney+ and digital platforms, that number rose to 11.5 million viewers. And in the rating among adults 18-49, after starting with a 0.35, the episode rose 354% to a Multiplatform + 3 rating of 1.59.

Additionally, its 18-49 rating, excluding linear encores, stood at 1.31 after three days – the highest for an ABC drama series premiere since the launch of “Big Sky” in November 2020. “High Potential” also has the Top Reached Hulu’s 15 chart and reached the No. 1 position for three days in a row beginning on September 22. In Live + Same Day, “High Potential” was the most-watched broadcast series of its timeslot, beating out the encores of “Password” on NBC and “FBI: Most Wanted” on CBS, which also aired that evening at 10 p.m.

Starring Kaitlin Olson as Morgan, according to the official logline, the series follows “a single mother with an exceptional mind whose unconventional talent for solving crimes leads to an unusual and unstoppable partnership with a seasoned detective” named Karadec, played by Daniel Sunjata. The cast also includes Javicia Leslie as Daphne, Deniz Akdeniz as Lev “Oz” Ozdil, Amirah J as Ava, Matthew Lamb as Elliot and Judy Reyes as Selena.

Drew Godard created the series based on the French series “Haut Potientel Intellectuel (HPI).” He and Sarah Esberg serve as executive producers for Goddard Textiles alongside showrunner Todd Harthan, Dan Etheridge and Rob Thomas. Olson produces. ABC Signature is the studio.
