The First and Second Flatiron Trail is a three-mile out-and-back trail that is generally considered challenging. according to AllTrails.
According to AllTrails, the trail takes hikers across a large meadow and then to a gap between the First and Second Flatiron. Although it is a relatively short hike, it is full of steep, slippery sections and rocky outcrops.
Recent hikers said on AllTrails that the packed ice along the trail made the descent slippery and that studded shoes were needed.
