His 'brain was partially devoured by a worm'

Jimmy Kimmel responded to Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s nomination during his “Jimmy Kimmel Live” monologue on Thursday evening. — a prominent vaccine skeptic — as secretary of Health and Human Services, saying the decision is “tough on the F.”

“Who better to be in charge of health and people than someone whose brain has been partially devoured by a worm?” Kimmel said, referring to RFK Jr.’s revelation. that an abnormality in the brain scan “was caused by a worm that got into my brain, ate part of it and then died,” as the The New York Times reports this in May.

RFK Jr., the son of the late U.S. Attorney General and Senator Robert F. Kennedy, also ran for president in the 2024 election – initially against Joe Biden in the Democratic primaries before launching an independent campaign and ultimately defeating Trump supported. In addition to his anti-vaccine views, RFK Jr. also embroiled in a scandal in September when New York Magazine reporter Olivia Nuzzi admitted to having a “personal relationship” with him.

“This tells you everything you need to know about our country right now: RFK was caught having phone sex with a reporter and she was fired,” Kimmel continued. ‘What happened to him? They made him Minister of Health and Social Affairs. Why not? I mean, if Matt Gaetz becomes attorney general, bring in Gary Busey to run the CIA. Go for broke!”

Gaetz was the subject of Kimmel’s ire during Wednesday night’s episode, when he berated the former Congressman, who was investigated by the House Ethics Committee over allegations of sexual misconduct and illegal drug use until his resignation to pursue the attorney general’s position . He has also been the subject of a federal investigation for alleged sex trafficking of a 17-year-old girl. Gaetz has denied all allegations against him.

“You know, in many jobs where sex trafficking is being investigated, underage girls would hurt your chances for advancement,” Kimmel said. “But in the Trump administration you can put it on your resume under special skills.”
