Police arrested several people this week in connection with the overdose death of Matthew Perry.

It is said that Hollywood “moves” after this. Matthew Perry‘s assistant and doctors were arrested this week in connection with the actor’s death from a ketamine overdose.
RadarOnline.com can also reveal that some of Hollywood’s biggest names are now “getting scared” as investigators close in on those responsible for the 54-year-old Friends star passes by.

The arrests this week come nearly a year after Perry was found dead in his home in October 2023.
A source told us: “Big names in Hollywood have been buzzing about this investigation for months.
“Heads will roll over postal drug rings to supply the rich, famous and powerful.

“There is also a major investigation into prescription rings, where doctor’s notes and long-term prescriptions are traded for huge amounts of money.”
TMZ was the first to report that police had arrested several drug dealers and at least one doctor in connection with Perry’s on Thursday morning death by overdose on October 28, 2023.
It was later confirmed Perry’s assistant, two doctors and two drug dealers were arrested as part of the ‘broad underground criminal network’ accused of ‘taking advantage’ of the A-lister before his death.

U.S. Attorney Martin Estrada said, “This network included a live-in assistant, several middlemen, two physicians, and a major source of drug supply known as ‘The Ketamine Queen.’
“These defendants took advantage of Mr. Perry’s addiction problems to enrich themselves. They knew what they were doing was wrong. They knew what they were doing risked great danger to Mr. Perry, but they did it anyway.
“Ultimately, these defendants were more interested in taking advantage of Mr. Perry than caring for his well-being.”

A medical examiner was pictured driving to Perry’s home in Pacific Palisades shortly after his death.

A source said multiple law enforcement agencies — including the Drug Enforcement Agency, the U.S. Postal Service and the Los Angeles Police Department — executed search warrants and seized computers, phones and other electronic equipment connected to the investigation.
The materials have been seized to determine who supplied the beloved actor with the ketamine that prompted him to do so lose consciousness and drown last year in a hot tub at his Pacific Palisades home.

According to a law enforcement source, the search warrant revealed text messages about Perry, the drugs he wanted and what the drug dealers planned to do to get him the ketamine.
The text messages also reportedly discussed the price Perry was willing to pay for the illegal drugs.

A source said: “Big names in Hollywood have been shaking about this investigation for months.”

He also predicted that “several suspects” would be arrested in connection with the drug death investigation.
Lovell said on August 5: “Costs are coming in any day now. This investigation has been going on for a long time and the leaks are starting to come out, which is likely intentional.

“Anonymous law enforcement sources won’t leak stuff unless they plan to press charges, otherwise they’ll have eggs on their faces.”
He added that among those at risk of arrest were doctors who might have written Perry a prescription – as well as the drug dealers who could have sold the drugs. Friends star the ketamine illegally.

Lovell added: “There are different ways to do that impose criminal liabilityor by distribution of a controlled substance, an unlawful act involving criminal negligence or recklessness, and in some cases even involuntary manslaughter and mail fraud.”
Depending on the charges prosecutors issue, those arrested Thursday could face a sentence of four to 20 years behind bars if found guilty.

The LAPD first launched a criminal investigation in December to find out how Perry obtained the drugs that ultimately ended his tortured life.
Agents worked with the DEA and the US Postal Inspection Service for at least nine months to track down the actor’s drug stash.

Charlie Sheen’s ex-wife Brooke Mueller was questioned in connection with the investigation into Perry’s ketamine overdose death.

Authorities reportedly a laptop and an iPhone were seized from Mueller, although the actress was never arrested in connection with the investigation.
Another individual, identified only as one female famous girlfriend of Perry’s, was also contacted by investigators in connection with the Friends the death of the star. It is unclear who that person was or whether she has been arrested in connection with the investigation.

An insider said before this week’s wave of arrests: “They have a list of suspects. It has put a lot of people in Hollywood on edge.
“Perry knew who to call if he needed a solution, that much is clear.”
