Honor has a history of unveiling flagship models at the start of the year, and it seems likely that a global launch will follow suit early 2025.
For context, this is when the previous generations were launched in Europe:
Don’t expect either phone to ever be available in North America, though; Honor doesn’t sell its devices there.
How much will the Honor Magic 7 cost?
While official pricing has not yet been confirmed, we can estimate the cost based on the prices of previous Honor Magic devices.
The only version of the Honor Magic 6 Pro available in Europe, with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage, costs £1,099/€1,299. Given the expected advancements in the Magic 7 series, especially with AI integration and improved camera technology, we could see a slight price increase.
The Honor Magic 7 series could be priced between £349/€349 and £1,999/€1,999 depending on the model (base, Light Pro, RSR, Ultimate). However, it is not yet clear whether the regular Magic 7 will arrive in Europe; its predecessor did not.
What specs and features will the Honor Magic 7 have?
The Honor Magic 7 series promises a range of advanced specifications and features. Below is a rundown of everything we expect from the Magic 7 Pro model, including leaks, rumors and even confirmed news.
Design
The Honor Magic 7 Pro is expected to retain much of the design language of its predecessor, the Magic 6 series, with a few notable tweaks. The device will likely continue to have a quad-curved display.

Leaked schematics (via Digital Chat Staton on Weibo) and live images of the Magic 7 Pro on Weibo (via GizmoChina) show a pill-shaped cutout for the front camera and sensor, similar to previous models but potentially smaller.
Additionally, the Magic 6’s flat center frame and rounded corners were retained, creating a familiar yet refined design. The series may also offer IP68 or IP69 water resistance and introduce Honor’s tough Kunlun glass for improved durability.
Display
The Honor Magic 7 Pro will likely feature a 6.82-inch 2K LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The quad-curved design can add to the premium feel, providing smoother edges and a more seamless user experience.

The screen is also expected to offer 1.5K resolution, continuing the trend of the Magic 6 series, and will be combined with the latest OLED technology for vibrant colors and high contrast.
Performance
Honor has confirmed that the Magic 7 series will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite. Qualcomm’s latest and greatest chipset wasn’t launched until October 21, 2024, making Honor one of the early adopters.
The device is also expected to come with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage, which will ensure fast multitasking and smooth data transfer. Depending on the model, this can range from as little as 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, to 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage.

This combination of high megapixels and advanced sensors suggests that the Honor Magic 7 series will prioritize photography, with detailed shots and impressive zoom functionality. Additionally, the phone is expected to feature 3D facial recognition sensors for secure unlocking and improved selfie capabilities.
Battery and charging
The battery capacity of the Honor Magic 7 Pro is expected to get a slight upgrade over its predecessor, with a 6,000mAh high-density silicon-carbon battery. Charging options include 100W wired charging and 66W wireless charging.
Software
The phone will also likely ship with Android 15 with Honor’s custom MagicOS overlay, designed to enhance the user experience with additional features and optimizations.

According to many reports from Digital Chat Station on Weibo (via NotebookCheck), the Honor Magic 7 series will introduce Honor’s AI Agent, the company’s answer to AI systems such as Google Gemini and Apple Intelligence.
The AI can help users by automating routine tasks such as managing subscriptions and possibly more advanced features in the future. It has reportedly been codenamed ‘Iron Man’, drawing comparisons to the advanced AI systems seen in the Marvel Universe.
This AI integration is expected to make the Honor Magic 7 series one of the most intelligent smartphones on the market, setting it apart from the competition in terms of everyday usability.
However, it’s unclear whether Honor will continue the Magic 6 Pro’s policy of four years of OS updates and five years of security updates from launch date.
