Light snow is expected over metro Denver tonight while some areas along the eastern Interstate 70 corridor are expected to see up to a foot of fresh powder.
Most of Denver’s snow will fall before midnight, with less than an inch of snow expected, according to National Weather Service forecasters.
Another inch or two could fall across the Denver area Wednesday and Thursday, but the bulk of the storm’s force will likely hit Evergreen, Castle Rock, Limon and Burlington.
Residents of Evergreen and Castle Rock can expect 6 to 8 inches of snow through Thursday evening, while communities to the east could see 8 to 12 inches, according to NWS snow forecasts.
The storm can have an impact driving conditions, especially on Interstate 25 south of Denver and the I-70 mountain corridor, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.
