Air fryers can be used quickly, cheap to run and almost as important, easy to clean. That is as long as you know how to take care of them.
To give your air frye the longest possible life, you must protect the anti-stick surface that the inside of the cooking basket is covered.
Many airfeilers have dishwasher -safe baskets and inserts, but that does not mean that you have to put them in the dishwasher every time you use them. If you do that, it will cause more wear of the non -stick coating and influence the life of the device. Use the dishwasher sparingly, and ideally not at all.
Instead, here are some tips for easy cleaning your air frituse – without damaging its components.

Give it clean after every use
The biggest problem with cleaning an air fryer is to go with pieces of fried oil, which are nightmare -like to remove without scrubbing. And if you scrub too hard, you run the risk of damaging the non -stick coating.
The best way to avoid this – and this is of course not what you want to hear if you have left it for too long – is to wash the air fryse regularly regularly. Ideally, you must quickly clean it after each use.
This means that you wipe out any oil in the base of the cooking drawer with a paper towel and hurry the heating coil debris. You only have to give the sharper drawer and drawer a fast wash with a soft sponge and some racing liquid to bring it back to a unspoilt state.
At least make sure that you wipe through pooled oil after each use, otherwise your air frituse will start smoking.
But what if you to have left it for too long?
Do not use abrasive cleaning products
If you are confronted with an oil-spatter cooking basket, the temptation is to try abrasive cleaning products or purs to remove dried smunkers, but this is the largest no-no air fride maintenance.
Instead, try to remove these tips to remove fried oil.
Use the heat of the air fryse
The air fryse will probably be too hot to clean immediately, but you can use it to your advantage. Disconnect your air frye, then pour some warm water into the drawer, add a few drops of dishwashing fluid and let it soak the interior and start lifting the fat. Then you can enjoy a guilt -free dinner.
Once the water has cooled in, take the basket to the sink, empty it and wipe it off.
If you use this cleaning method, be safe: do not use boiling water and make sure you do not overflow the cooking drawer.

Use a dishwasher tablet
If you have left the air fryse for too long between cleaning, you can also try this method. Put the air frituter drawer or basket and any inserts in the sink, add a lot of hot water and drop a dishwasher tablet, which will help lift the fat.
When the stove parts have been soaked for a while, clean the greasy residue with a soft sponge and rinse them well.

Use baking powder – no pure
If there are difficult to remove fat plasters, make a pasta of baking soda and water and gently rub the stains until they lift.

Don’t forget the heating coil
Once the drawer and inserts are clean, you may think your work is complete. But unfortunately there is another task to do. In your air frye you will see a heating coil at the top. When this has cooled completely, rub it gently with a wash brush or sponge to remove any large pieces of food residu.
