Musk has spent almost $175 million to help Trump during his campaign for the 2024 US presidential election.

The tech mogul’s colossal efforts over the past six months, combined with the Republican candidate’s get-out-the-vote operation in battleground states, were a notable driving force behind Trump’s victory over Kamala Harris.
Musk even admitted as much on election night, telling Tucker Carlson while standing two seats away from Trump at his private club in Florida, “My America PAC has vastly improved the Republican ground game in the swing states.”

Since August, the SpaceX founder has knocked on nearly 11 million doors in major battleground states — including about 1.8 million in Michigan and 2.3 million in Pennsylvania.
In addition, $30 million was poured into a massive direct-mail campaign, while $22 million went to digital advertising, including on Trump-friendly platforms like Barstool Sports.

The super PAC’s success could pave the way for similar efforts, potentially reshaping modern campaigns.

He also focused on early and absentee voting, even revising canvassers’ scripts to not only identify Trump supporters but also promote absentee voting — providing a QR code for requesting ballots by post.

Conservative activist Ralph Reed, whose super PAC claimed to have knocked on nearly 10 million doors for Trump, said: “There is no reason to spend federal campaigns’ precious hard money on ground game activities when there are outside organizations with a proven track record of employ. and a verifiable infrastructure.”

Musk has also pushed the boundaries by offering potential voters financial incentives, including $1 million gifts for those who signed petitions supporting freedom of speech and the right to bear arms.
The stunt ultimately generated a flood of free publicity.

Beyond his efforts, Musk was one of Trump’s biggest cheerleaders, turning his X account into a pro-Trump megaphone to spread his message to a large audience.
He wrote on the platform after Trump won: “It’s worth noting that many more ‘billionaires’ supported Harris than Trump and she raised almost 50% more money. Nevertheless, America showed that elections are not just a function of money and gave Trump a resounding victory!”
Musk has consistently criticized Democratic propaganda in recent months, claiming the “real source of the truth” was on X.

The Tesla owner was one of Trump’s biggest supporters and cheerleaders and even sat by his side the night he won the 2024 election.

Musk also spoke at several Trump campaign rallies, including his controversial event at Madison Square Garden in New York.
The Republican’s victory has also boosted Tesla, whose shares have jumped 15.1%. Although, Trump’s
