The MLS host team for the Club World Cup has reportedly been announced. “We all know how Miami is in love with soccer and how Inter Miami is receiving support from all over Florida and beyond for your exciting brand of soccer,” Infantino said. “Congratulations on your tremendous success in the Supporters’ Shield in 2024. You have shown that you are consistently the best club on the playing field in the United States.

Twelve UEFA clubs will participate alongside six CONMEBOL teams, four AFC, Concacaf and CAF teams and one OFC squad. 31 of the 32 participating teams have been confirmed with the final spot going to the winner of the 2024 CONMEBOL Copa Libertadores. Once that is complete, the draw for groups will take place in December 2024.
