Sabina Rosas was murdered in her room at the Shou Sugi Ban House at the age of 33.

An investigation has been launched after 33-year-old Brooklyn artist Sabina Rosas was brutally murdered at an upscale Hamptons spa and resort.

RadarOnline.com can reveal that Rosas was found dead in a guest room at Shou Sugi Ban House, a $1,250-per-night luxury resort in Water Mill, in what Suffolk County police said may have been an “isolated incident.”

Artist Rosas, 33, was found dead in a guest room at the luxury Hamptons hotel in what was believed to be a “violent” scene.

Spa staff found Rosa’s body Monday afternoon in one of the lavish hotel’s 13 private guest studios, located along a stretch of the Montauk Highway and often booked by Hollywood stars.

A Suffolk County Police crime scene van and a police car from the city of Southampton arrived around 4pm and left about half an hour later.

Rosas is believed to have been an apparent victim of an unspecified act of violence.

Although details of Rosas’ murder have not yet been revealed, officials believe her death was an isolated incident and did not pose a threat to the public.

It was also believed to be an extremely bloody and violent scene.

Shou Sugi Ban House is “a private retreat and gated grounds surrounded by evergreen trees and lush grasses” that has been featured in luxury publications such as Vogue and Conde Nast Traveler.

Since learning of the murder, locals have expressed shock at the out-of-place incident.

Jean Wong, 56, said: “It’s just so unusual for this area, and that area in particular.”

It is currently unclear what brought Rosas – an apparent victim of an unspecified act of violence – to the resort in the first place.

The Rosas family has since released a statement saying they are “devastated” by the “senseless loss.”

Rosas’ family has discussed her death, telling NBC4, “We are devastated by this senseless loss,” adding that she was “a beloved daughter, sister, fiancé and friend.”

They continued, “As the eldest of three daughters, Sabina brought excitement, adventure, joy and love to our family.”

“Your support during this challenging time is a testament to how special Sabina was and will continue to be.”

The outlet also reported that police are still looking for a male suspect who visited the spa with Rosas and left solo.

The statement was announced as police announced Wednesday that the murder suspect, 56-year-old Thomas Gannon, had been found dead in an apparent suicide at his home in Honesdale, Pennsylvania.

Montauk locals are ‘horrified’ over the murder that took place at the luxury spa.

Gannon died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to Suffolk County police.

Although it is unclear how Gannon became linked to Rosas, sources said ABC News that he was probably her boyfriend.

Rosaswho originally came from Tajikistan an artist involved in the nonprofit organization Harvestworks’ 2021 Technology Immersion Program.

She began studying painting in 2003 and moved to the US in 2009 to study art.
