Fans of Invincible can rejoice because the animated hit will be back with a new dose of bloody collisions, family traumas and weird aliens. Mark Grayson and the rest of the earth residents will not even get a moment of peace, because not only the felt rumors are preparing for an invasion, but also the sequel and, the most surprising, demons from hell.
Invincible season 3 contained the usual horrific fights, alien invasions and interdimensional journeys. Many fans thought that the plot would mainly be devoted to the fight against the feltrumites. It turned out that the makers are still setting up the stage for a future war – in the third season only one felt rum appeared. However, he destroyed even larger than Nolan in the final of season 1.
Will there be a collision between earthlings and felt rumors in the fourth invincible episode? We have gathered all the news and rumors about the next season of the Amazon Prime video series.

When can invincible season 4 be released?
The fourth episode of the show was confirmed in July 2024. It was no surprise – the Mark Grayson series is a hit on Prime Video and there is still a lot of comic book material left to adapt.
For now it is unknown when season 4 will premiere, but we expect it to appear early 2026 Based on earlier episodes. The makers are aware of the impatience of fans. In season 2 they joked how complex the animation process is during a scene in which Mark Comic-Con visits and talks to the writer of his favorite comic book and series.
The good news is that Robert Kirkman, author of the Invincible Comic series, told Variety that there will be no repetition of the two-year gap between seasons.
What is the Invincible season 4 plot about?

For now, the makers have not announced official plot description for season 4. However, we have drawn up a list with seven important plot lines that we believe should appear in season 4.
Angstrom Levy’s revenge
After the bloody fight in season 2, Mark was convinced that he had killed the crazy scientist, who blamed him for his accident. In season 3, however, Angstrom returned to take revenge on Invincible. This time he arrived with a mess of Mark’s malignant incarnations from other dimensions, who had destroyed various cities and had slaughtered many citizens. The superheroes of the Earth eventually overcome the alternative invoices and Mark again defeated Angstrom. But at the last minute the scientist succeeded in running the portal to another dimension, where three robot -like doctors save his life.
However, the mysterious beings seemed to have their own plans – they agreed to help Angstrom, but demanded that he worked for them in exchange. In the comic books they were once people who put cybernetic equipment in their bodies to survive on the alternative earth that was destroyed by their reckless acts. In the series they want Angstrom to find them a new world to conquer and hunt his resources.
That is why in season 4 we expect the crazy scientist to return, possibly with the cybernetic creatures that are ready to take control of the earth.

Viltrumite Invasion
The invasion of a superhuman race is an important storyline in invincible, but it slowly unfolds. In the final of season 3, a cruel felt rum, conquest, eventually arrives on earth to take over. This resulted in a brutal collision with Mark and Oliver, which led to more massacre in cities. In the end, Conquest was defeated by Mark and Atom Eva, who, who stood on the edge of death, unlocked her power to control organic matter.
It turned out that the broken conquest did not died – Cecil caught him in a secret base, hoping to drag information about the superhuman empire of the feltrumite. It is expected that, despite the counter -measures, Conquest will come loose in the following season – maybe he will start raveling again, or maybe he will try to escape to his planet to bring a larger group of felt rumors back.
The search for weapons against the felt rumors
It turned out in season 2, the crippled books that Nolan wrote years earlier, were memories of earlier adventures instead of SCI-Fi stories. In the novels, Omni-Man smuggled information about artifacts and beings that are powerful enough to injure the felt rumors.
Among them the Infinity Ray appeared by Space Racer. It is a weapon that an unstoppable wave of energy that can destroy everything. Another threat to the felt rumors were the rognars, lizard -like creatures that inhabit a planet with dense gravity, causing them to develop extraordinary power.
In season 3 no report was made of these weapons. That is why we expect that Mark will look for Space Racer and the Rognarrs in season 4 to persuade them to fight against the felt rumors.

Nolan’s salvation arch
After the massacre on Earth, his stay on the planet Traxa and the reunion with Mark, Omni-Man was captured by a troop feltrumite who was imprisoned him and was sentenced to death for betrayal. All the Alien, however, came to the rescue and helped Nolan to escape prison, killing his guardians and two felt rumors. In season 4 we believe that Nolan, full of regret and longing for his family, will participate in the fight against the felt rumors.
Of course, forget that Nolan is very old and that the feltrumite ideals run deep in him. As an ally he can be unpredictable.
Threat of the seques
In season 2, after he was saved from the series and return of Mars, Astronaut Rus tried to rebuild his life. However, while he cleaned up his apartment, he was again attacked by an octopus -like creature that apparently had succeeded in coming to the earth.
In an alien scene entangled Sequid Russian and took over his body. In season 3, however, they stayed sleeping – as it was revealed in the season finale, they hid in the sewers, so that they slowly breed and prepare an army. In season 4, Invincible will probably have to deal with an invasion of body-natch-space parasites.

Demons from hell
The earth depicted in Invincible is struggling with a multitude of villains and aliens trying to colonize it, and it seems that they will soon be accompanied by demons from hell. The final of season 3 contained Damien Darkblood, a demontring detective, who investigated the murder of Guardians of the Globe in season 1, but was sent back to the Underworld by Cecil.
In the last episode of season 3, however, Darkblood returns unexpectedly – he contacts the Demon Overlord and offers to help him regain the “Infernal Throne”. The tool is to be a super human home on the earth-probably referring to Mark.
In the comics, Darkblood, inspired by Watchmen’s Rorschach and Hellboy, quickly disappeared from the plot. It appears that Robert Kirkman, comic book and maker of the series, regrets that he did not develop the plot of the Demon Detective. In a statement to cartoonist Kayfabe, Kirkman said:
One thing I really regret is that I never had an adventure where the superheroes went to hell. There have been so many super hero strips where they have to fight against Mephisto or something, and I just never happened to that. (…) The Damien Darkblood character in Invincible was there, so I could eventually tell such a story, and I never got it.

In an interview with Grace Randolph, Kirkman said the following:
Along the way I really like the idea of bringing in different story lines that I might have considered putting in the comics … There is a really cool Damien Darkblood -plot that I had. I have always loved the superhero -trope from superheroes who go to hell, it always happens in Marvel and DC Comics.
We are never in invincible to do it in invincible, but I had always planned that there would be an adventure where Invincible should go to hell to do something with Damien Darkblood, and we will hopefully be able to do it in the show.
All indications are that Mark will finally make a trip to the hellish dimensions in season 4.
Mr. Liu’s revenge
In season 3, an Asian cyborg is taking the form of a green Chinese dragon the leader of the crime syndicate called the Order. After a collision with Titan, supported by Invincible, Liu’s body is killed, but his mind is somehow restored during a ritual performed by his sidekick.
Mr. Liu said to Mark before his death: “Your strength can come from the stars, but mine comes from this reality outside this reality”. That means that in season 4 the Cyborg can return to regain power over the criminal underworld and to take revenge on Mark.

Of course we can expect much more development in the personal life of the cast. The relationship of Invincible and Atom Eve will develop, as well as the romance of Debbie and Paul, and Monster Girl and Rudy/Robot. Mark and his mother will probably have many problems with Oliver, who grows up faster than other children because of his Traxan background.

Unfortunately, Rex Splode, expressed by Jason MantzoukasWill not be back in season 4 – the superhero died during the fight with one of Mark’s malignant incarnation.
We don’t know for sure if XOLO MaridueñaDie Dropkick and Fightmaster, twins and time-traveling Martial Arts Masters expressed in the new season.
It is also unclear, if the Maulers -tweeling, killed in season 3 by Oliver, will return to the new episodes. So far they have always succeeded in making a comeback, so we keep our fingers crossed for another resurrection of the naughty duo.
Is there invincible season 5?
Most likely yes – the Mark Grayson series is a hit on prime video, and there is still a lot of comic book material left to adapt. Amazon has not confirmed anything yet.
