Apple released iOS 18.3.2 and iPados 18.3.2 last week. They do not come with great new functions, but they will help to protect iPhone and iPad users against a serious security error that has potential to give hackers a free pass to your data.
The error was partially blocked in iOS 17.2, but the last update is supposed to remove the vulnerability once and for all.
As reported by Techcrunch, the error enabled attackers to use malicious -manufactured web content to escape from the security restrictions of Webkit. This type of exploit is particularly worrying because Webkit Safari and many other apps on Apple devices are actively competent.
Apple has admitted that this error may have been operated in an “extremely advanced attack”, aimed at users with older versions of its iOS and iPados mobile operating systems. Although Apple did not announce how widespread the attack was or who influenced it, this additional solution implies that it is a serious problem.

If you have not yet updated your device, do this now: to update your iPhone or iPad, go to Settings> General> Software update.
Be warned that updating the operating system also makes Apple Intelligence possible, but this can be switched off if you don’t want to use it.
