Lorraine, 34, recapped the holidays and posted a series of photos, including one of herself cuddling with her famous dad, 87. via Instagram on Thursday, January 2.
“Giving season 🎁” she captioned the post.
Lorraine is Nicholson’s daughter with his ex-girlfriend, actress and model Rebekah Broussard. The former couple welcomed their daughter together in April 1990; Broussard later gave birth to a son, Raymond Nicolson, in February 1992.

A Brown University graduate and former Miss Golden Globe, Lorraine has followed in her father’s footsteps and appeared in several films over the years, including 2004. The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement, 2006 Click2011 Soul surferand that of 2016 Hacker.
In 2011, Lorraine revealed to We weekly that Jack had played an important role in her desire to pursue acting.
“He’s my mentor,” she said exclusively Us at the time. “I’m going into the family business because we are so close and he is such an inspiration. I admire him enormously.”
She also talked about the importance of being humble in the industry.
“My grandmother always told my father, ‘Don’t toot your own horn,’ which in Nicholson means, ‘Be humble and let your work speak for itself,’” Lorraine said. “I have applied that not only to my acting, but also to my daily work.”

“I knew the mansion wasn’t for children, but I didn’t ask any questions,” she wrote.
Lorraine added: ‘I’ve never been to summer camp. I never had an after-school activity,” she recalls. “From the year I was born, 1990, until I was 11, I went to the Playboy Mansion because that’s where my friends were.”

Meanwhile, Jack spoke about his fatherhood experience in a 2010 interview with AARP The Magazinein which he talks about how close he is to Lorraine and Ray.
“We’ve always gotten along,” he told the outlet. “I want to be inspiring, or have a good influence on them, without overburdening them. It’s their time of their life to find out who they are.
Jack fathered six children. In addition to Lorraine and Ray, Jack also welcomed Jennifer Nicholson in 1963 with ex-wife Sandra Knight. Jac’s Five simple pieces costar Susan Anspach gave birth to his first son, Caleb Goddardin 1970.
Daughter Dear Holman arrived in 1981, whose mother is a model Winnie Holman. Jennine Gourin gave birth to Jack’s youngest daughter, Tessa Gourinin 1994. [Jack and Tessa have been estranged for much of her life. In 2023, Tessa told The Daily Beast that Jack “wasn’t interested” in having a relationship with her, adding, “I don’t know this person very well, we’ll just say that.”]
