Christiano Ronaldo may have broken the record for most subscribers in 90 minutes on YouTube… but there’s no way he can overtake it Mr. Beast‘s astronomical figures – so says Jake Paul.
Many had wondered if the football superstar could reach 300 million like Beast, given his wild numbers in just a few days. launch his channel – but Paul told it TMZ Sports on Friday he just doesn’t see it happening.
That’s not exactly a shade on the boxer – Paul actually praised Ronaldo for scoring the song – but he just thinks MrBeast’s numbers are in a whole different stratosphere.
“Kudos to him,” Paul said of Ronaldo. “Hopefully he drops some great videos and I’m excited to have him on the platform.”
Of course, Paul knows a thing or two about how YouTube works… he’s spent most of his life chasing followers on the site – and currently has around 20 million subscribers.
And while Ronaldo’s numbers continue to grow by the minute (he’s now up over 39 million), Paul says he expects a plateau soon.
Ronaldo probably won’t care, after all, he has an edge over Beast on Instagram, with a whopping 637 million followers.
