After tying the knot earlier this month, newlyweds Jana Duggar And Stefan Wissman renovate their new home together – and share the journey with their fans.
The Count on it star, 34, shared images via Youtube on Thursday, Aug. 29, of the “fixer upper” home she and Wissman, 31, are working on, unveiling their plans for the transformation.
Duggar gave a tour of the sprawling Nebraska home, which has two floors, five bedrooms and full bathrooms on both the top and bottom floors.
The house also has various other rooms, including a living and dining room, kitchen, cellar and utility room/laundry room.
Duggar explained that she and Wissman planned to convert two of the adjoining bedrooms into a larger master bedroom and en suite bathroom.
“Our plan is to remove this wardrobe, that’s where the garage door is,” she said as she panned the camera over the rooms. “And then bedroom one and bedroom number two – we plan to combine the two and make it the first bedroom suite.”
She added: “We are going to remove the cupboard and then remove the door and move the wall about five feet to make the bedroom bigger. The smaller room on the left becomes the primary bathroom.”
The reality star also noted that the house had a large space downstairs that could be suitable for turning into “a games room or a home theater.”
Jana, who rose to fame alongside her parents Jim Bob And Michelle Duggar and 18 siblings on reality shows 19 children and counting And Count on itappears to be enlisting family help for the renovation.
The images show her father and several of her youngest sisters, including Jennifer17, participated in ‘Demo Day’ and helped Jana and Wissman tear up carpets and demolish plaster walls.
Jana is settling in Wissman’s hometown in Nebraska after the couple got married on Thursday, August 15 in Prairie Grove, Arkansas. The Cornhusker State is already Wissman’s home base. He is a pastor and Bible study leader at East Fairview Mennonite Church in Milford, Nebraska.
