Jay Leno is looking better after a nasty fall that caused serious damage to his face

Jay Leno looked a lot better Friday night while attending amfAR’s first benefit event in Las Vegas … after a fall earlier this week severely damaged his face.

Fans were very concerned after most of Jay’s face was bruised and he was wearing an eye patch… after he said he fell 60 feet down a hill in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

But Jay seemed to be in a much better mood as he walked the event’s red carpet in a navy blue suit… minus the eye patch with his face a much healthier complexion!

Hopefully it heals quickly…but makeup was probably used to hide the bruises.

Remember, Jay told TMZ he was staying in a hotel on a hill and wanted to go to a restaurant at the bottom of the slope… and instead of taking a winding path down, he tried to take a shortcut… and it ended up with him tumbling down the hill.
