Jessica Chastain is receiving mixed reviews on social media for her criticism of JetBlue and the airline’s handling of a $15 refund.
Here’s the problem… The actress and her husband, Gian Luca Passi de Preposulotook a six-hour JetBlue flight, but the entertainment system didn’t work, so Jessica complained to the company’s management.

What’s worse, Jessica said, the entertainment system didn’t work during her multi-hour flight, so JetBlue only credited her $15.
A JetBlue service agent replied to “X” and apologized to Jessica for her disappointment, but noted that she had received a $15 refund.
The agent also asked Jessica to send a Direct Message so that JetBlue could investigate the matter further.
This only irritated Jessica more, as she pointed out that she and her husband each paid $1,500 for the flight, so there should be an additional credit, especially since she is a TrueBlue account holder and a loyal customer.
But the officer didn’t budge and said there wasn’t much else she could do.

Some people on social media saw the exchange and condemned the wealthy star for her tone-deaf criticism of JetBlue in light of the deadly hurricanes that ravaged Florida.
One person told Jessica to “read the room,” while another called her complaints “so embarrassing,” and a third called her “our modern-day Princess Di.”
But several others supported Jessica, with one insisting that airlines bear no responsibility.
