Jimmy Fallon joked that Donald Trump beef starts with American allies because he doesn’t seem to see them as such.
“During the weekend, President Trump announced new rates in Canada and Mexico who is expected to start a trade war,” said the “Tonight Show” strip in his Monday evening monologist.
“People wonder why Trump would start a war with our closest allies, and he said:” I said nothing about Russia and North Korea. “
Trump, famous for the prizes about Russia and the dictatorial leaders of Noord -Korea, announced the rates of 25% for import from Mexico and Canada on Saturday, the two largest trading partners in the country.
It seemed ready to start a trade war when Mexico and Canada ordered retribution rates. On Monday, the president agreed to a 30-day break about the imposition of the rates to allow a period of negotiations with adjacent countries.
