JK Rowling calls Olympics 'misogynistic sports company'

Khelif’s match against Italy’s Angela Carini lasted just 46 seconds, after Carini landed some powerful punches to the face. You could see Carini fighting back tears as she finished the match.

In an interview with the BBC, she said: “It could have been the match of my life, but I also had to keep my life at that moment.”

However, she told the press after the match that she would not “judge” Khelif, saying, “I wish she continues until the end and that she can be happy.” I am someone who doesn’t judge anyone. I’m not here to make judgments.”

However, Rowling, who has been very vocal about her views on the transgender community, jumped into the fray after the match.

The Harry Potter The author posted a photo of Khelif and a visibly distraught Carini after the match on X, writing: “Can a photo better sum up our new men’s rights movement? The grin of a man who knows he is protected by a misogynistic sports organization who revels in the suffering of a woman he has just hit over the head and whose life ambition he has just shattered.”
