In this week of ‘The Daily Show’, Jon Stewart focused on the trade rates of President Donald Trump and his plans to take over Panama and Greenland.
Stewart opened the segment with a compilation of news clips with a “new trade war” that could arise from the rates of Trump on the EU, Canada and Mexico.
“The EU? Canada? Do we have friends? I mean, Mexico, I understand. Trump has been hatred-fucking Mexico almost since the escalator, “said Stewart, referring to Trump’s famous ride along the Trump Tower Escalator before announcing his presidential candidacy in 2015.” But Canada? Canada? We choose a fight with our most reliable and pleasant friend? The Labradoodle of allies? ”
Stewart then focused on Trump’s threats to “take back the Panama Canal” and “use Military Force to take Greenland.”
“Denmark, Panama and Canada. We are America! We used to fought against the Nazis. Now we are looking for the world for easy points, “Stewart joked. “What are we, the Jake Paul of Nations? No offense. “I know China is there, but Panama is a legitimate fight!” ‘
Stewart then played a video from Trump that justified his rate by Bashen with former trade agreements with Canada. “I look at some of the required deals, I say:” Who has closed these deals? They are so bad, “Trump said in the clip.
Stewart then said to the audience: “Ladies and gentlemen, for your eating and dance pleasure, come with me to the way back to 2018, to 2018. I will give you the perpetrator of the terrible deal with Canada.”
A news clip from 2018 then played Van Trump who signed a new trade agreement to “replace Nafta with leaders of Mexico and Canada.” The clip was split with another Soundbite from Trump who called the move ‘the best trade agreement ever made’.
“Oh! A deal of Trump’s greatest archenemy:” Trump “, Stewart joked.
Stewart further acknowledged that Mexico “received a 30 -day stay at rates by promising 10,000 troops on the border.” He also temporarily called Trump the Canadian rates on Monday after last-minute negotiations with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
