With so much fashion that exists online, something refreshing is trying out pieces in the store after they first viewed them on a small screen. Just go in for browsing: we take you to the fitting room while we view an example of the latest collections of some of our favorite brands with High-Street and contemporary labels. We go in dust and quality, fit and feeling, and much more when we make our way through the workplace. Fortunately scrolling (and walking)!
The presence of Massimo Dutti has never felt urgent or relevant than at the moment. The cooler, slightly more Bohemian sister of the retail giant, Zara, has embraced a completely new design direction in recent seasons that has been raised at the same time and timeless yet completely trendy. It enforced the emphasis on adjusting and suede – all done in exceptional quality – but it is also folded in a strong fashion point in its offer.
Before I visited this newly open flagship in Miami this spring, I was used to shopping from Massimo Dutti on the Zara app, where it is remarkably easy to scroll through the different brands and view it with a single cart. But seeing and trying, clothes you look at in the store is unparalleled, so when I went to the Paris Fashion Week in February, I made it a mission to enter the flagship of Champs-Elysées. It lived with energy.
The Massimo Dutti boutique in Miami was noticeably airy and calm. Located on the top floor of the Aventura shopping center, gave earthy tones and natural accents the space an inviting, quiet Aura. The clothes were beautifully melchandised in capsule collections, making it easy to imagine how they could style the pieces together. I could get two or three things from the rack and create a complete look – it is a simple proposition that appeals to your level of confidence in making a look.
What I also liked about all the pieces I tried was how easily everything was mixed and matched. If you think of a long lifespan of the wardrobe and invest in clothing that is a step ahead in quality, that sense of convenience and versatility is exactly what you want. The practical service was equally impressive and confirmed why I wanted to shop there in the first place. Everyone in the workplace was incredibly well informed of the pieces on display and their attention to detail increased the overall experience. What I loved the most from the summer collection? Let’s go in.
Summer breeding
The knitted pieces were absolutely effortless. The dresses felt very easy – they had a lazy movement and the silhouettes scored the body with a casual ease that embodies the spirit of summer clothing. Many of the top collections of the season leaned in texture and craft, which as a minimalist brings a sense of valuity all year round with which I can resonate and easily lie in my own wardrobe. The craftsmanship can be seen entirely in these knitting nits, my favorite was the cream edge dress -it is so playful but does not get me out of my comfort zone. I found the knits for all blank canvases for accessorizing – I could combine each other with an artistic pendant or my characteristic pile of silver cuffs and it would look great.
Striking SUEDES
Massimo is known for its SUEDES – The heritage of the brand is rooted in learning work for men and the prices reflect the high quality. I had been interested in trying out his Suees since last summer (already a favorite on the Fashion Shop team) and loved these Burgundian pieces. The color is so beautifully rich, and both the skirt and the cut jacket felt as essential supplies all year round that I could style with a white t-shirt instead of a knitted tank; Or jeans instead of flowing pants. The skirt has a soft A-line silhouette that is not too voluminous, neither in slinky and just like the knitted dresses of earlier, they divide the carefree liquidity.

Exceptional customization
I think it will be a Bermuda Short Summer for me! I am normally a skirt girl in the warm weather – I only have one shorts in my wardrobe – but I just thought it was great how these Bermudas looked like with a sandal with heels and easy white tee. I have one lot From blazers in my wardrobe, so everything I buy new in the jacket room must be something that feels refreshing. This softer shape, with its customization inspired in the 1980s, felt exactly that. Apart from the shoulders, it is an unstructured linen jacket with higher lapels and two rows of three buttons. Again, it has the same easy movement that I love.
Liquid substances
I will admit that I would probably not have picked these pants from the rack, but I had just seen the video of Spring/summer runwayAnd they moved so beautifully – I was mesmerized by them. They have this unexpected crack that you see alone while you walk, and the silhouette feels sculptural and high-fashion. I wanted to emphasize here in the fluidity with a similar unstructured topper, so I combined it with a suede kimono-style jacket, white t-shirt and heels sandal. That said, I already have visions that I wear these pants on the beach with slippers and a little bikini.
Accessories Spotlight
There was a special accessories wall in the window, which was by far my favorite space in the entire store. Raffia, suede and woven leather styles were all neatly set up to choose your favorites. Each style felt from the moment-er was an east-west form, a large, square boxy tote, a small bag and none of the bags was branded, which I appreciated because I am not a large logo carrier, and discover that it really makes the design and craftsmanship shine. The braided bag was just perfect and the spacious tote felt like a super refined daily bag. The colors were also all minimalist-friendly-the deep chocolate brown would easily supplement everything my wardrobe is.
