Kate Middleton spreads positive Christmas cheer with an uplifting message, while also mentioning ‘times of joy and sorrow’ ahead of her annual Christmas carol concert.
The Princess of Wales – who continues her recovery from cancer – shared a heartfelt clip on her social media on Tuesday … urging everyone to ‘shine for each other’.
The clip shows various footage from the Christmas Carol event that Middleton hosts every year, which was filmed at Westminster Abbey earlier this month… with children putting up decorations, playing the steel drum and – of course – singing their hearts out.
In the clip, Princess Kate talks about all the inspiring people in Britain… who embrace those in need – and says this is the time of year when all people should shine for each other.
She then mentions that “in times of joy and sorrow we are all each other’s light.” Middleton ends her message by wishing everyone and their families a Merry Christmas.
Middleton and her family have felt both joy and sadness this year… because even though the princess has been attending more public events, she’s still battling cancer.
As you know…Kate announced her diagnosis in a video message in March – after speculation about her whereabouts circulated.
During the rest of the year – what her husband, Prince Williamprobably called the most difficult of his life – Kate has slowly returned to public duties…making a performance at Trooping the Colour in June and Wimbledon in July.
Royal Carols: Together At Christmas – the carols event – airs in Britain in just a few minutes… and features Princess Kate, Prince William and their three children – Princes George And Louis and princess Charlotte.
