As one of Jason Kelce’While the Philadelphia Eagles teammates had a public social media page, chances are his wife Kylie have done some snooping in their personal lives.
As Kylie, 32, explained on Thursday, December 12 episode of her podcast ‘Not Gonna Lie’she uses her online stalking powers for good.
“We got to the point where we would almost stalk people on social media just to say, ‘Have you posted with a woman recently?’ If so, we’ll go to her page,” she confessed. “If her page is private, we’ll ask before following, but otherwise, if she’s public, we can see that you’re still together. We’ll slide just go to your DMs and say ‘Hey, welcome.’”
Jason played his entire eight-year career in Philadelphia, and eventually Kylie came to realize that she was the oldest and most experienced wife and friend of all the players. She then took it upon herself to reach out to new players’ significant others and provide assistance as they adjusted to life in their new city.
She explained that this was much more effective than simply having Jason ask for his or her partner’s phone number. Kylie joked that if she did, she wouldn’t get an answer for “three years.” Her guest, Allison Kucharczykwife of former NFL defensive end Isaac Rochellagreed.
“At the end of the football season you would find the phone number in a wad in a shoe or something,” Kucharczyk joked.
Kylie continued, “We’ve really found that the best way to do this is to just be direct and say, ‘Hey, if you need anything, we’re here all year round. If there is any way I can help you, or [anything] If you need any advice or even if it’s just a restaurant recommendation, let me know.’”
Her helping hand did not go unnoticed. Kucharczyk said women like Kylie are doing “God’s work” when they reach the newcomers. That was especially true for Kucharczyk, whose husband played in four cities from 2017 to 2023.
“I have to say on behalf of all the girls who have traveled around to different teams, people like you make the experience so much better and so much less lonely,” she said.
Jason retired from the NFL in 2022 and Kylie said she hopes the wives and girlfriends who remain in the league have continued the tradition. She added that even if a player is traded, someone from the player’s old team can put a partner in touch with someone from the new team so he or she doesn’t have to start over every move.
“There’s a really big web of women in the NFL and I think the best thing they can do right now is continue to weave the web and make sure the women feel supported and connected and can do that independently, outside of their spouse or partner,” she said.
Now, in their post-football lives, Kylie and Jason still live in the Philadelphia area. The two married in 2018 and share three daughters, Wyatt, 5, Elliotte, 3, and Bennett, 1. Kylie is also pregnant with the couple’s fourth child, another girl.
