2025 NFL Draft hopeful Kyren Lacy Died days before a large jury was set up to start arguments about his alleged hit-and-run case.
News about Lacy’s death was confirmed by the local Louisiana Outlet WAFB 9 only a day before the hearing was planned to start on April 14, 2025.
The former recipient of Louisiana State University was arrested in December 2024 and accused of negligent murder, crime hit-and-run and reckless driving after the authorities assumed that he was involved in a fatal car accident that killed a person and injured others.
Lacy was released for two days on bond before the NFL design was declared. He had maintained his innocence in the legal case.

Car -accident
The State Police of Louisiana claimed in December 2024 that Lacy was involved in a car accident on the highway that led to the death of an individual.

Kyren Lacy’s assumed innocence
Lacy’s lawyer claimed in a statement from February 2025 that the athlete was not involved in the crash.
“On the day of the accident, Mr Lacy drove on a road with two lanes, one in each direction.
