If Aaron Donald gets the itch to return to the Rams this season, Kyren Williams tells TMZ Sports he has no problem helping the defensive tackle scratch!!
Of course, AD retired in March… but after a video surfaced of him recently beating the former NFL running back LeSean McCoy in a sprint – many have wondered if the future Hall of Famer has more gas in the tank than he wants to blow out on Sunday.
According to Williams, he’s pretty sure Donald is enjoying his retirement… but he said if the feeling ever changes, he’d be happy to welcome him back into the locker room.
“We wouldn’t mind having him back,” the LA tailback said. “We don’t mind that at all!”
But with or without Donald, Williams told us he loves this year’s version of the Rams… and emphasized that the team is good enough to win a Super Bowl.
In fact, the 24-year-old emphatically said he would put LA’s squad “against anyone”, and he is confident they would compete for the dub.
Williams will have a different impact on the team in some ways this year as he will be the punt returner. He’s clearly excited for the role, though he said his fantasy football managers have begged him to stay healthy amid the added workload.
He’ll get his first chance at the new gig next Sunday night when the Rams open the season against Detroit.
But before that all ends, Williams tells us he’ll be promoting DIRECTV For Business… in the hopes that it will lead to more attention for his games in 2024.
