Lady Gaga describes the sweet way her fiancé interacts Michael Polansky proposed to her.
Gaga, 38, revealed in the Tuesday, October 1 episode Jimmy Kimmel Live that Polansky, 46, asked her if he could propose to her before popping the question. The “Die With a Smile” singer previously revealed that Polansky proposed to her after they went rock climbing together.
“We went on a trip together and we went rock climbing. We had done rock climbing before, which was super fun,” Gaga explained. “He didn’t propose to me at the top. We climbed to the top, looked around and took some pictures.”
Gaga continued, “We went back downstairs and just walked back to the room. It was very Michael to ask me if he could ask me. He wanted to know if it was okay to propose before he proposed. I thought, ‘Yes! It’s so okay! ”
Host Jimmy Kimmel He then asked if Polansky got down on one knee, to which Gaga replied, “He didn’t.” I am a modern lady, I like what he did.”
Kimmel also asked Gaga – real name Stefani Germanotta – if she plans to have a big Italian wedding, leading to a surprising revelation.
“I don’t know what we’re going to do. We don’t know exactly yet,” Gaga said. “We actually talk a lot about going to a courthouse together [then] Order Chinese food. But knowing me, it could also be a circus with unicorns.”
The Joker: Folie à Deux actress and Polansky met in December 2019 and got engaged in April this year. In an interview with Fashion Published last month, Gaga first shared that Polansky proposed to her after a day of rock climbing.
The happy couple has Gaga’s mother, Cynthia Germanottato give thanks for their bond of love. The singer’s mother, who runs Gaga’s Born This Way Foundation, met Polansky at a philanthropy and sang his praises for her daughter.
“My mom met him and said to me, ‘I think I just met your husband,’ and I said, ‘I’m not ready to meet my husband!'” Gaga said. Fashion. “I never could have imagined that my mother would… find the most perfect person for me?”
Gaga and Polansky eventually met at the co-founder of Napster Sean Parker‘s 40th birthday party in Los Angeles in December 2019.
“I got invited and I said, ‘I wonder if Michael will be there,’ and my mom said yes, and so I went to the party and I kept asking about him and finally he came to me and we talked. for three hours,” Gaga said. “We had the most wonderful conversation.”
