The recall was started on March 25, 2025, after the labeling problem was identified. It is classified as a recalling class II, which indicates a low risk of serious health consequences, although temporary or reversible effects can occur for people with milk allergies. The recall remains underway, according to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
The affected product was distributed among distribution centers in Kansas, Florida, New Hampshire, California, Iowa, Georgia, Texas, Colorado, Connecticut, Wisconsin, New York, Washington and Pennsylvania.
