Lone Star' Sets Series Finale Premiere Date

Fox has announced midseason premiere dates, including the series finale of “9-1-1: Lone Star.”

In September, it was reported that “Lone Star” would end with its fifth season on Fox. Now, that season is scheduled to resume on January 20 at 8 PM ET, followed by “Rescue: Hi Surf.” The “Lone Star’s” series finale will next air on February 3 at 9pm ET.

Fox’s midseason launches officially kick off on January 2 with the return of “Gordon Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen” at 8pm ET. That will be followed by the season 3 premiere of the Joel McHale comedy “Animal Control” at 9 p.m. and Denis Leary’s new military workplace comedy “Going Dutch” at 9:30 p.m. ET, marking a new Thursday comedy block at the broadcaster is being set up.

On Jan. 7, Fox’s new medical drama “Doc” premieres at 9 p.m. after “Kitchen Nightmares: Road to Super Bowl LIX.” “Doc” was originally ordered to series on Fox in 2023. Fox will then debut Season 3 of the reality competition series “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test” on Jan. 8, airing from 8 to 10 p.m.

Fox will air Super Bowl LIX on February 9, with the official broadcast beginning at 6:30 PM ET. That will be the start of what’s being called “Fox’s Super Week.” Immediately following the game, the season 3 premiere of the Rob Lowe-hosted quiz show ‘The Floor’ will debut with exact timing depending on when the game ends. “Rescue: Hi Surf” was originally intended for the post-Super Bowl timeslot, but the episode set to air after the big game will now air on Feb. 10 at 9 p.m.

Season 13 of “The Masked Singer” debuts Feb. 12 at 8 p.m. That will be followed by the time period launch of “The Floor” at 9 p.m. Finally, on February 13, Gordon Ramsay launches season 4 of “Next Level Chef at 8 p.m., followed by “Animal Control” and “Going Dutch.”
