New York City police made several arrests Thursday morning when a group of pro-Palestinian protesters blocked the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade, TMZ confirmed.
Police tell us several people have been arrested, but an exact number is unclear because the disturbance just happened. For now it seems to have been cleared up.

The protesters didn’t make the television show on NBC… but social media was flooded with photos and videos of them making their attempt… and the NYPD’s swift response.
The protesters swarmed the parade at W. 55th Street and Sixth Avenue…where they stopped the Ronald McDonald balloon.

Some protesters sitting in the parade path held a large banner that read: “Do not celebrate genocide!” … as some shouted, “Free, free Palestine.”
