Mariah the scientist has pleaded not guilty after being accused of serving a plate of whoop-ass to a woman who says she doesn’t even know the singer.
According to documents obtained by TMZ Hip Hop, Mariah, through her attorney Brian Steel — waived arraignment, pleaded not guilty and demanded a jury trial.
We told the story in May… a woman named Cleopatra debts claims she was at Atlanta’s Cavo Kitchen and Cocktail Lounge on March 29 when Mariah suddenly tore off her wig her scalp before dragging her across the floor of the bar.
Cleopatra is the mother of one of Young criminal‘s children, and Mariah is currently in a relationship with the jailed YSL rapper, but Cleopatra told police she had never had any previous contact with Mariah before the alleged incident.
After she went to police with her version of events, officers arrested the R&B singer and charged her with simple battery.
Mariah has not publicly addressed the incident, but it seems she is looking forward to doing so in a courtroom.
