Mary Trump on Monday labeled her uncle, the Republican Party’s 2024 presidential candidate Donald Trump, as a “weak, vulnerable man” who is “deeply weird and deeply disturbed” and as someone who should be “relentlessly mocked.”
“He recently told us that the one thing he hates, probably more than anything, is being made fun of,” the former president’s niece noted in the latest issue of her email newsletter: “The good in us.”
“If we don’t laugh at him and mock him, we are missing an opportunity,” she warned. “It is not mean or rude or bad form to mock, laugh at or ridicule someone who wants to destroy us.”
“We have to go full throttle because as we get closer to the elections we will see the terms of the battle unfold and no matter how bad what they have said so far, it will get worse.” she added.
Mary Trump, a clinical psychologist who has been a fierce critic of her relative for years, also detailed the myriad ways in which she believes “Republicans are weird,” using the line of attack Vice President Kamala is currently using on Republicans. Harris and Democrats before Harris is likely to become the Democratic nominee.
Particular scorn was reserved for Senator J.D. Vance of Ohio, her uncle’s running mate in the 2024 race. “By adding J.D. Vance to the Republican ticket, Donald has exponentially increased the level of creepy strangeness, and the Harris campaign and its allies are taking every opportunity to take advantage,” said Mary Trump.
