Miley Cyrus is being sued for copyright infringement after being accused of using parts of Bruno Mars' song in her Grammy-winning hit Flowers

The song also won Record Of The Year – a tribute to songwriters – and was nominated for Song of the Year, but was beaten by What was I made for? Through Billie Eilish.

Flowers was also number one in the US for eight weeks last year

Around the time the song was released, Cyrus’ fans noticed clear similarities with When I was your man.

In her song, Cyrus seemingly reverses the lyrics of Mars’ song: “I should have bought you flowers/ And held your hand/ Should have given you all my hours/ When I had the chance/ Take you to every party/ Because all you wanted to do was dance/ Now my baby is dancing/ But she’s dancing with a other man.”
