Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s three-day visit to the US began with a bilateral meeting with US President Joe Biden.
The two leaders met at Biden’s home in Wilmington, Delaware. They discussed in detail a multi-billion dollar drone deal.

At the Quad Leaders’ Summit, Prime Minister Modi said that a free, open and inclusive Indo-Pacific is the shared priority and commitment of the Quad countries.
Prime Minister Modi also noted that the first Quad Summit was held under the leadership of Biden and lauded his role in enhancing cooperation in every area in an unprecedented manner.
President Joe Biden has told Prime Minister Modi that the US supports India’s permanent membership in a ‘reformed’ United Nations Security Council.
The Quad has taken several positive and inclusive initiatives in areas such as healthcare, critical and emerging technologies, climate change and capacity building, Prime Minister Modi pointed out.
Secretary of State S Jaishankar, US Ambassador to India Eric Garcetti, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, US National Security Advisor (NSA) Jake Sullivan, Ambassador of India to US Vinay Mohan Kwatra and others were also present at the bilateral meeting between India and US.
