A 22-year-old motorcyclist was killed crashed a semitrailer in East Commerce City on Mondaypolice officials said.
The crash happened around noon on Tower Road between Peña Boulevard and 96th Avenue, officials with the Commerce City Police Department said in a post on Facebook.
No other injuries were reported, department spokesperson Joanna Small said.
Speed and intoxication are not believed to be factors in the crash, but the case remains under investigation, she said.
Tower Road was closed in both directions for several hours after the crash, but was expected to reopen Monday afternoon, Small said.
The man killed in the crash will be identified by the Adams County Coroner’s Office.
