Nearly 500 flights delayed at DIA due to light snow

More than 300 flights delayed and canceled at DIA as winter weather wanes

At least 497 flights to and from Denver International Airport have been delayed due to winter weather as of Saturday afternoon, according to flight tracking service FlightAware.

The delays included 190 United flights, 139 SkyWest flights, 131 Southwest flights and a smaller number of AeroMéxico, Air Canada, American Airlines, Cayman Airways, Copa Airlines, Delta, Frontier, Jazz and Key Lime Air flights.

No flights had been canceled as of 12:15 pm on Saturday

DIA spokesperson Keylen Villagrana said the airport has averaged 1,703 flights daily this month, including arrivals and departures.
