Nickelodeon continues to build the world of “Avatar: The Last Airbender” with the Greenlight of the Animated Series “Avatar: Seven Havens.”
The new 2D animation series consists of 26 episodes of half an hour spread over two seasons, or books 1 and 2 in the style of the “Avatar”. The news of the pick -up comes when “Last Airbender” prepares itself for celebrating his 20th birthday, with the original show debuting on February 21, 2005.

Dimartino and Bryan Konietzko are the fellow makers and executive producers on “Avatar: Seven Havens.” Ethan Spauling is an executive producer and Sehaj Sethi is a co-executive producer.

This will be the third animated “Avatar” series. In addition to ‘The Last Airbender’, Nickelodeon has previously broadcast ‘Avatar: The Legend of Korra’ for four seasons between 2012 and 2014.
