A transit bus ride in New Jersey took a wild turn after the driver viciously beat a passenger… and now several videos from the scene are going viral.
In one video making the rounds online, the bus driver is seen putting a man in a chokehold, threatening his life and loudly reprimanding him for allegedly spitting at him earlier during the ride.

The incident was terrifying for bystanders on the bus. In one video, you can hear the driver shouting to ease his attack.

The driver could be heard directing people to the back of the bus to keep them out of harm’s way before he started attacking the man.

In another clip from the scene, the driver encourages commuters to back up… before hunting down his enemy. The rider barely had a chance to fight back… watch the video: he desperately covers himself and puts his hands around his head to protect himself.
Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Frage tells TMZ … police headed to Broad and Lafayette streets after a call came in Friday about a physical altercation.
We’re told the bus driver and adult male passenger have both been arrested over the violent outburst … which was reportedly sparked when the passenger allegedly lunged at the driver amid a verbal altercation.
Both the bus driver and passenger are currently individually charged with aggravated assault. The incident is still under investigation.
