The northbound lanes of Interstate 25 are closed between University Boulevard and Santa Fe Drive as a result of an accident, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.
The agency first posted about the closure on X at 6:25 p.m
Denver police reported on its X account that the crash occurred near the Santa Fe Drive interchange and involved two cars. One person was pronounced dead at the scene.
