OpenAi released updates on Monday for the advanced speech mode, the AI speech function that makes real-time conversations in Chatgpt possible, to make the AI assistant more personal and to interrupt users less often.
Manuka Stratta, an OpenAI post training researcher, announced the changes in a video posted on Monday at the official of the company social media channels.
The newest update from OpenAi is intended to tackle a frequent problem with AI -speech assistants, who interrupt users when they pause to think or take a deep breath.
Free Chatgpt users now have access to a new version of the advanced speech mode with which users can pause, without being interrupted when they speak with the AI assistant. Paying users of Chatgpt – including subscribers of OpenAi’s Plus, teams, EDU, Business and Pro Lagen – now also receive less frequent interruptions when using the advanced speech mode, as well as an improved personality for the speech assistant.
A spokesperson for OpenAi tells JS his new AI -VAMILENT for paying users is “more direct, more fascinating, concise, specific and creative in his answers.”
The improvements in the advanced speech mode are amidst intense pressure from competitors in the AI Voice Assistant Space.
