One person was killed in a single-vehicle crash early Saturday morning near northbound Sante Fe Drive and Interstate 25 in Denver. according to the police.
Three people, including the driver, were in the vehicle at the time of the crash, which officers responded to around 12:13 p.m., police spokesman Kurt Barnes said.
He said the driver and one passenger escaped without serious injuries, while the other passenger was pronounced dead at the scene.
Barnes added that the crash was still under police investigation as of 9:30 a.m. and that it was too early to say whether speed or other factors contributed to the crash.
