A small propeller plane with two passengers on board made an emergency landing at Centennial Airport Saturday morning, sending one person to the hospital.
“The aircraft had just departed from Centennial Airport, reported an engine failure and returned for an emergency landing,” South Metro Fire Rescue said in a statement on social media.
Firefighters responded to the plane crash around 10:48 a.m. on Saturday PulsePoint records.
The Twin Commander propeller plane was carrying two adults — a pilot and one passenger — fire officials said. One person was sent to hospital with minor injuries.
The crash is still under investigation.
