Phaedra Parks is picking up her peach again … because the Bravo personality just announced her official return to “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” — amid Kenya Moore‘s exit.
The reality TV star — who first appeared on ‘RHOA’ between seasons 3 and 9 — took to Instagram on Monday to confirm her return to the Bravo hit.
In the new IG upload, Phaedra is seen wearing the show’s iconic token — a Georgia peach — while dressed to the nines in front of a private plane. She added… “You called. I answered 🍑#RHOA #S16”
This casting update comes amid another major shakeup for the show, with longtime star Kenya Moore leaving season 16 early after a controversy.
As we reported… Kenya was pause indefinitely after allegedly showing newcomer posters Brittany Eady performing oral sex.
Although Kenya has denied the allegations, she has chose not to return for the remainder of season 16’s production.
Phaedra is certainly an interesting choice from the network, as she infamously left ‘RHOA’ after a scandal of her own.
ICYMI…Phaedra was reportedly cut from the show start a rumor that sexton Kandi Burrus and her husband, Todd Tuckerplanned to rape and date Porsche Williams.
The lawyer turned reality star was eventually revealed as the source of the disturbing gossip during the Season 9 reunion.
Following the scandal, Phaedra has been able to burnish her image by becoming a fan favorite in other Bravo/Peacock projects, including “Married to Medicine,” “The Traitors” and “The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip.”
However, don’t expect a big showdown between Phaedra and Kandi in season 16 like KB left the show in anticipation of the new season.
