PHINMA group to build municipality P12-B in Bacolod

THE PROPERTY UNIT of PHINMA Corp. launched a P12 billion mixed-use township in Bacolod City on October 19, expanding its portfolio and nationwide presence.

PHINMA Property Holdings Corp. (PHINMA Properties) introduced the 21-hectare Saludad Municipality, which will include a business district, as well as various services from the PHINMA group, such as education from PHINMA Education Holdings, Inc. and hotel and event spaces from PHINMA Hospitality, the conglomerate said in a statement to the stock exchange on Monday.

The project developer collaborated with JEPP Real Estate Co. for the mixed-use development, with design led by Royal Pineda+ Architecture • Design.

“This township will provide Bacolodnons and other local residents with more opportunities to improve their lives while finding their own community in Saludad,” said Ramon R. del Rosario, Jr., Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of PHINMA Corp.

“This certainly inspires the group to leverage the strengths of our businesses and increase investment to drive development in our regions and impact more lives,” he added.

The community will also have a downtown area with several restaurants, shops and entertainment venues, as well as residential areas with residential lots and mid-rise apartment buildings.

“We integrate the best of [Bacolod] in this township, which embraces both heritage and modernity,” said Raphael B. Felix, president and CEO of PHINMA Properties.

Meanwhile, PHINMA Properties also launched the Likha Estates residential community in Saludad.

The project will consist of modern living spaces, luxury amenities and green spaces.

“The various amenities allow for a versatile lifestyle tailored to their needs and desires,” said Paolo V. Reyes, Vice President and Chief Township Officer of PHINMA Properties.

Shares of PHINMA Corp. fell Monday. by 2.16% or 45 centavos to P20.35 per share. – Revin Mikhael D. Ochave
