Patrick, 29, reposted the braid photo via his own Instagram Story on Monday.
The high school sweethearts, who married in 2022, also share 2-year-old son Bronze. In July, the couple announced that they were expecting their third child in a candy Instagram video with their children holding up sonogram photos. “Round three, here we come 🤍,” the pair captioned the joint post.
That same month, Brittany and Patrick said they were expecting a girl at a sex reveal party for family and friends.
Before their baby arrived, Patrick revealed he wasn’t interested in expanding their family beyond three children. “I’m done, that’s what I’m saying,” the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback said told reporters during the team’s training camp in July. “I said three and I’m done.”
He went on to call Brittany’s pregnancy “amazing” because he “always wanted to have kids young.” He added: “I grew up in a dressing room and it had such an impact on my life. We are now on our third child… Brittany is doing great and we are still going out and enjoying our lives.”
In addition to preparing to become parents of three children, Brittany and Patrick are also enjoying their final months as a family of four. “Sterling starts soccer tomorrow and she will be the smartest one around let me tell you 😂😂,” Brittany captioned Instagram Story photos of Sterling’s hot pink soccer gear in July.
Sterling is following in her mother’s footsteps, as Brittany previously played forward for Icelandic club UMF Afturelding and is co-owner of National Women’s Soccer League team Kansas City Current.
Brittany and the kids have cheered on Patrick from the sidelines at several Chiefs games this season. Patrick gave Sterling a special shout-out during the Chiefs’ Oct. 7 game against the New Orleans Saints, saying into an ESPN camera, “Hey, Sterling, go to bed!”
Last month, Brittany and Patrick celebrated Bronze’s second birthday with a golf-themed party. “Teeing up for two!🤍,” Brittany captioned one Instagram video of her son’s big day, which was held at an indoor children’s playground.
Matching the party’s neutral color scheme, the couple and Mahomes children all wore matching brown sports jerseys with Bronze’s name and the number two.
